After defeating the University of Toledo last Friday by a score of 55-35, the Broncos gained their 12th win and completed the regular season undefeated. They are now the No. 17 ranked team in the nation in the College Football Playoff Rankings, and ranked No. 13 in the Associated Press Poll.
“You’ve got to give Toledo a lot of credit. That is what a MAC West Championship game looks like. It was a wonderful game,” Fleck said.
In the weeks leading up to the WMU-Toledo matchup, many predicted the game to be a challenge for WMU, with some analysts even predicting the Rockets to hand the Broncos their first loss of the season.
