CLEVELAND – For the seventh time in the first eight weeks of the season, Western Michigan senior setter Logan Case has been named the MAC West Setter of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Case racked up 75 assists (12.50/set) to help the Western Michigan offense hit .310 on its way to a pair of straight-set victories over Central Michigan and stay undefeated (8-0) in conference play.
The senior handed out 41 assists on Thursday as the Broncos hit .371, their second-highest, single-match hitting percentage of the season. Case tallied 34 more assists on Friday, and also had a block assist on the clinching point as WMU completed its sweep of the Chippewas.
