KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan senior forward totaled 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to secure his first double-double of the season, but the Broncos fell, 76-70, to Toledo in the MAC opener on Saturday afternoon at University Arena.
Lobsinger's 13 rebounds established a new career high and marked a new season-best by a Bronco. It was the third double-double of the senior's career. Lobsinger's 13 boards helped Western Michigan (3-10, 0-1 MAC) dominate on the glass, 53-41, which included a 22-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. The 53 rebounds tied the team's season high, and the plus-12 margin marked the fifth time this season WMU has had a double-digit rebounding advantage.
