KALAMAZOO, MI -- Western Michigan hosts Northern Illinois Saturday at 6:30 p.m., and the Broncos are looking to snap a seven-game losing skid to the Huskies and improve to 5-0 for the first time since their 8-0 season in 1941.
Northern Illinois has won the MAC West the last six seasons, and Broncos coach P.J. Fleck would like nothing more than to knock his alma mater from the top of the pack.
The Huskies enter the game at 1-4, but they won their conference opener last week 31-24 against Ball State
The Broncos are also undefeated in conference after a big win at Central Michigan in Week 4.
