CINCINNATI, Ohio – Despite two runs in the top of the ninth inning the Western Michigan baseball team rally fell short in a 7-5 loss in game two of its three-game series with Cincinnati on Saturday afternoon inside UC Baseball Stadium.
Western Michigan scored five runs on five hits against the Bearcats and left nine runners on base in game two. The Broncos had four players register hits on Saturday with earning double-digit hits.
McIntyre was 2-for-5 on the night with two RBIs, a double and one triple. In the two spot of the line-up McIntyre registered his second fourth career triple against the Bearcats.
