KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Mid-American Conference announced its 2015-16 Men’s Basketball Academic All-MAC team Wednesday. A total of 13 student-athletes were named to the team, including Western Michigan senior Jared Klein and redshirt junior Kellen McCormick. WMU was just one of two MAC schools to have multiple selections this year.
Both players will now be eligible to be voted Distinguished Scholar-Athletes by the league, an award which will be announced later this year.
The Broncos have long been well-represented on the MAC’s list of academic honorees, with at least one WMU player reaching an Academic All-MAC list every year since 2004.
