FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Western Michigan head golf coach Kim Moore has been named the Golf Association of Michigan Champion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for 2023.
Moore, who was born without a right foot and has a club left foot, won the first ever U.S. Adaptive Golf Open last summer at Pinehurst Resort's No. 6 Course in North Carolina.
"When I'm out playing golf I'm just playing, wanting to do my best and trying to win, that's always a goal, and then there's a lot that comes with it," Moore told GAM.
