CLEVELAND – Western Michigan volleyball's Kathleen Reilly has been name Mid-American Conference West Division Defensive Player of the Week for her performance in WMU's wins over Akron and Buffalo over the weekend.
The freshman libero averaged 5.71 digs per set as the Broncos won back-to-back matches for the first time in MAC play this season. In the 3-0 sweep of the Zips she recorded 14 digs. In the 3-1 win against Bulls she averaged 6.5 digs per set. Her 26 total digs tied a career-high that was previously set in a five-set match against Ball State.
