TAMPA, Fla. -- Western Michigan golf's Julia Champion claimed the top spot at the Tampa Collegiate Tournament in the Hurricane Collegiate Golf Tour, earning yet another win for the talented junior.
Champion shot a two-round score of 152 to top the field at TPC Tampa on Tuesday and Wednesday, four ahead of two golfers tied for second in Madison Glennie and Victoria Higgins. The Markham, Ontario native shot a tournament-low round of 74 to open up play and followed it up tied for the lowest score of round two with a 78 on Wednesday.
