The Western Michigan University football team will be without its starting kicker for the rest of the 2018 season.
On Monday, September 24, sophomore kicker Josh Grant announced on his Twitter account his intention to transfer from WMU.
“I want to thank Western Michigan University, and Coach Lester, for the opportunity to wear the brown and gold,” Grant said in his statement. “However, for personal reasons, I’ve made the decision to transfer and use this as a redshirt year. I’m thankful for the lifelong friendships that I’ve made, and the lessons I’ve learned, over the past year.
