The first player of the week honor came after Davis’ performance against Chicago State. Davis put up career numbers in the game against the Cougars. He finished with a career high 27 points and nearly had a double-double with his eight rebounds and four assists, leading the Broncos to a 92-71 win.
“It was great to be honored for my performances,” said Davis. “However, I am looking at the bigger picture and trying to win a MAC championship.”
Davis had another historical night in the MAC opener win against Akron. Davis scored 26 points and shot 10-for-10 from the field and added seven rebounds.
