CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced on Tuesday that Western Michigan men's basketball redshirt junior forward Brandon Johnson has been named MAC West Co-Player of the Week.
Johnson shares the weekly honors with Toledo senior forward Willie Jackson. It's the first weekly honor for Johnson and the second of the season for the Broncos.
On Saturday against Manhattan the Chicago, Ill., native collected his third straight double-double and fourth of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds in a thrilling 59-58 victory. In a team-high 33 minutes of action, Johnson shot 42.
