KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan senior center Jacob Gideon has been named to the Outland Trophy Watch List, the award given to the nation's top interior lineman.
Gideon has been no stranger to watch lists in his career, having been a staple on the Rimington Trophy for the past two seasons. The Union, Ky., native has helped the Broncos produce 1,000-yard rushers in two of the past three seasons.
Gideon started every game in 2023 and earned First Team All-MAC honors. He has been rated as the MAC's top center by Pro Football Focus in each of the past two seasons.
