KALAMAZOO, MI -- A long line of faithful Western Michigan University football fans were in line 20 minutes before doors opened for a big watch party Monday at Kalamazoo State Theatre.
Stephanie Hinman, executive director of the State Theatre said more than 700 people made advanced reservations for the free gathering, leading her staff to anticipate a crowd of 900 or more.
Staged for such an event, the 404 S. Burdick St. theater can accommodate up to 1,372 people. Doors opened at noon.
