BUFFALO, N.Y. -- It has been a whirlwind couple of months for incoming Western Michigan hockey freshman Wade Allison, with the culmination of years of hard work ahead of him with the 2016 NHL Entry Draft this weekend.
Allison, a native of Myrtle, Manitoba, is fresh off winning a Clark Cup Championship and being named the MVP after leading the Tri-City Storm to the USHL Championship. Allison scored nine goals and added seven assist in the USHL Playoffs to lead the league with 16 points. During the regular season he tallied 25 goals in 56 games, mostly in the second half of the season.
