COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan sophomore forward Matheson Iacopelli has been named National Collegiate Hockey Conference Bauer Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Air Force over the weekend.
Iacopelli totaled four points as the Broncos tied and beat the Falcons. In Friday's 5-5 tie he tallied two assists on the first two goals of the game for WMU. He also totaled six shots on goal. On Saturday he recorded his fourth multi-goal game of the season, scoring twice. The first broke a 1-1 tie in the second period and was the eventual game-winner.
