Hockey Splits With No. 2 St. Cloud State

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Western Michigan hockey team had to settle for a road split with No. 2 St. Cloud State, falling to the Huskies 4-3 at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on Saturday night.

After SCSU took a 3-2 lead on a power play goal early in the third period, Corey Schueneman responded with a power play tally of his own to tie it up at 3-3 with 8:46 left. St. Cloud netted the game-winner with 15:32 left as Easton Brodzinski was left alone in front of Ben Blacker and punched it in.
