KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team exploded for three goals in the third period to down No. 4/5 St. Cloud State, 6-2, on Friday night at Lawson Ice Arena on Friday night.
Six different Broncos lit the lamp in the victory with Ronnie Attard, Tim Washe, Scooter Brickey, Josh Passolt, Ethen Frank and Paul Washe all finding the back of the net. Attard, Passolt and Paul Washe each had an assist for two-point nights. Freshman goalie Alex Alsanidis made 21 saves on the night to extend his unbeaten streak to three games (2-0-1).
