KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After collecting four points in the NCHC opening weekend, Western Michigan was ranked No. 12 in the latest USCHO and USA Hockey/The Rink Live polls.
The Broncos handled Omaha, 5-2, on Friday, Nov. 3 before falling in overtime the following night to claim four points in conference play. That puts the Broncos in third place after the opening week of NCHC action.
Western Michigan will now turn its attention to St. Cloud State, which will be in town for games on Nov. 10 and 11. Puck drop for Friday's game is set for 7 p.
