KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After a weekend sweep of Colorado College, the Western Michigan hockey team was able to jump up in the latest national polls.
In this week's USCHO and USA Hockey/The Rink Live polls, the Broncos jumped up to No. 15. WMU joined North Dakota, Denver and St. Cloud State as NCHC teams to be ranked in both polls. Omaha was receiving votes in each poll as well.
Western Michigan will return home to square off with St. Lawrence this weekend. Puck drop for Friday, Nov. 24 is set for 7 p.m. inside Lawson Arena.
