KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Thanks to a sweep of Omaha this past weekend, Western Michigan was able to make a strong rise in the latest national polls.
In the USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll, the Broncos jumped up two spots to No. 11. WMU moved up one spot in the USCHO poll to No. 13. WMU is 5-1-0 overall and 2-0-0 in NCHC play this season.
Joining WMU in the polls were Denver, Colorado College, North Dakota and St. Cloud State. Arizona State was receiving votes in the USCHO poll.
