KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan hockey team fell 4-1 to National Collegiate Hockey Conference rivals Miami at Lawson Ice Arena on Friday night.
Anthony Louis scored two goals for the RedHawks and MU netminder Jay Williams made 27 saves.Aaron Hadleyscored the lone goal for the Broncos (7-19-3, 4-14-1-1 NCHC), who were held 0-for-4 on the penalty kill. Miami outshot WMU 34-28 on the night, including a 17-8 edge in the first period.
The RedHawks took an early 1-0 lead on Louis' first of the night at 4:26 in the first period.
