OMAHA, Neb. – The Western Michigan hockey team extended its winning streak to five games after a 5-2 victory over Omaha on the road at Baxter Arena on Friday night.
Wade Allison had his first multi-goal game of the season, tallying two on the night, while the Broncos (12-9-4, 8-5-2-2 NCHC) also picked up goals from Kale Bennett, Cole Gallant and Jason Polin. Dawson DiPietro and Hugh McGing each had two assists on the night, with freshman goalie Brandon Bussi making 23 saves in net.
