KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan hockey team was upended by Colorado College Saturday night inside Lawson Arena. The Broncos forced overtime midway through the third period, but ultimately fell in the extra session, 3-2.
Ryan McAllister scored the game's first goal, getting assists from Max Sasson and Cedric Fiedler. Sasson then went on to score the game-tying goal in the third period, getting helpers from McAllister and Zak Galambos. Cameron Rowe made 28 saves in the game.
It was a fast-paced game to begin the opening 20 minutes, with both teams getting great looks on net.
