Hockey Cracks the Top 10

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- After earing a pair of wins at North Dakota this past weekend, the Western Michigan hockey team has elevated itself into the nation's top 10. The Broncos handled the Fighting Hawks, 4-0, on Friday night before coming back to win, 7-6, on Saturday evening. WMU has now been ranked in the top-20 for 40 consecutive weeks.

The Broncos jumped up to two spots to No. 10 in both the DCU/USCHO poll and USA Today/USA Hockey Maganize polls released earlier today. The Broncos leapfrogged over Merrimack and UCONN. WMU was ranked No. 12 in both polls last week.
