COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Western Michigan hockey team was able to extend its winning streak to six games with a 4-1 victory over Colorado College on Saturday night inside Ed Robson Arena.
The Broncos went down 1-0 early, but scored four unanswered goals to run away with another victory. Tim Washe tallied two goals, while Jason Polin and Jack Perbix added goals of their own. Polin's goal in the first period was his NCAA-leading 23rd of the season. Cole Gallant had two assists, while Max Sasson and Chad Hillebrand were each credited with one.
