AUSTIN, Texas – Former Western Michigan men's basketball standout Tucker Haymond was selected 37th overall by the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League.
During his career at WMU, Haymond averaged 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 123 career games. The Seattle, Wash., native finished his career ranking eighth at WMU with 1,545 points and also totaled 586 rebounds and 233 assists.
"I am blessed to have an opportunity to play and learned from such a prestigious organization," said Haymond. "I am excited to play and can't wait to get out on the floor.
