KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan men's tennis landed two CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic First Team Academic All-District selections in the at-large category with senior Lenhard Haupt and junior Yannik Opitz earning the honors.
The 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes outstanding student-athletes in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Haupt boasts a 3.97 GPA in finance and was a First Team All-Mid-American Conference selection, helping WMU win both the regular season and MAC Tournament titles.
