TOLEDO, Ohio – Western Michigan redshirt junior forward Markeese Hastings collected a new career high 20 rebounds on Friday evening, as the Broncos fell, 102-74, at Toledo.
Hastings surpassed his old career high of 18, which he set in last season's meeting between the Broncos and Rockets at Savage Arena. The Grand Rapids, Mich., native is the seventh player in NCAA Division I to have 20 or more rebounds in a single game this season. He's also the first Bronco to have a 20+ rebound performance since Seth Dugan pulled down 20 rebounds on March 2, 2019 against Ball State.
