LOVELAND, Colo. – Former Western Michigan goalie Lukas Hafner is set to begin his quest for the Kelly Cup when the Colorado Eagles take on the South Carolina Stingrays on Friday evening.
Hafner, who played for the Broncos from 2012-16, joined the Eagles late in the season and played in five regular season games. Hafner posted a 4-1-0 record prior to the playoffs. Since the start of the playoffs he has been on fire. The Toledo, Ohio, native has posted a 10-2 record in the post season.
Hafner looks to be the second-straight Bronco to win the Kelly Cup.
