Gymnastics Selected for NCAA Regional at Pitt

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan gymnastics team heads to the University of Pittsburgh for the NCAA Regional Championships on March 31 at 2 p.m.

The Broncos will compete against No. 7 California, No. 10 Michigan State and West Virginia. This is the first time in program history that Western Michigan competes in the second round, by-passing the play-in meet. Cal finished in third place at the PAC-12 Championship, while the Spartans finished runner-up behind Michigan at the Big 10 Championship and WVU took third at the Big 12 Championships.

This is just the second time the Broncos have been selected to a NCAA Regional in the modern era.
