BOWLING GREEN, Mich. -- The Western Michigan gymnastics team posted a season-high score of 195.925 to pick up a win on the road at Bowling Green on Friday evening.
The Falcons turned in a score of 195.050, but the Broncos were strong and consistent on the night, led by senior Payton Murphy. Murphy won on floor, beam and the all-around. Murphy's all-around score of 39.400 tied a career high.
"The team brought incredible energy to the meet tonight," said head coach Penny Jernigan. Our bars line up led us off strong and we carried that momentum into vault.
