KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan gymnastics team continues its four-meet road stretch on Friday, opening Mid-American Conference competition at Bowling Green at 4 p.m.

The Broncos (1-1) are coming off their first loss of the season, falling on the road at Illinois State by just 0.250. Individually, Amanda Gruber and Payton Murphy each picked up individual wins. Gruber won on beam and had a career-high on floor, placing second. Murphy won the all-around for the first time this season.
