Gymnastics Falls Short at Kent State

KENT, Ohio – The Western Michigan gymnastics team led through three rotations, but ultimately fell on the road at Kent State 195.925-195.425 on Sunday afternoon.

Individually, Broncos won on vault, bars and beam and tied on floor. Payton Murphy finished in first place with a 9.875 on bars and tied for first on floor with a 9.900. Sophomore Halle Faulkner finished at the top on vault with a score of 9.850, while Amanda Gruber turned in a score of 9.900 to win on beam.
