COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan hockey's Trevor Gorsuch and Cam Lee have earned Bauer National Collegiate Hockey Conference weekly honors after their performances in WMU's sweep of No. 4/3 Denver over the weekend.
Gorsuch earned his second Bauer NCHC Goalie of the Week award after posting a 2-0-0 record, a 1.00 goals against average and a .967 save percentage. In Friday's 2-1 win over the Pioneers he made 21 saves, including 14 in the third period, to earn his 12th win of the season. On Saturday he made 36 saves, including 19 in the third period, to again hold the Pioneers to just one goal.
