SILVER LAKE, Ohio – The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up its 2020-21 season, taking eighth place at the 2021 Mid-American Conference Championships at Silver Lake Country Club on Saturday.
WMU shot its best round of the weekend, combining for a total of 319 and finishing with a 54-hole total of 978 (+114). Kent State won the tournament with a final total of 878 (+14).
Three Broncos all finished within three shots of each other. Junior Brook Gibbons was Western Michigan's highest finisher in the field tying for 25th after shooting a final round of 77 for a 240 (+24).
