BLUFFTON, S.C. – The Western Michigan golf team successfully defended its title at the Low Country Invitational, also taking the individual title after Jasmine Chee finished in first place after a playoff, at the Crescent Pointe Golf Club.
The Broncos had the team title wrapped up after shooting a 311 on the day for a combined 36-hole total of 619 (+51). However, Chee shot a 75 to finished with a 149 (+7) and was tied with Hannah Stephenson of Lander University. The two played the 18th hole for the playoff, a par four measuring out at 352 yards.
