Golf Takes Third at Brittany Kelly Classic Thanks to Second Lowest Score in Program History

YORKTOWN, Ind. – The Western Michigan golf team turned in the second-lowest single round in program history to rocket up the standings and finish in third place at the Brittany Kelly Classic, hosted by Ball State at The Players Club on Tuesday.

WMU combined to shoot a 287, also the single lowest team round of the tournament, and moved up from eighth place to finish with a 902 (+38). The Broncos were just two strokes off the program record of 285, set back in 2004 at the Ball State Cardinal Classic.

Graduate student Natalie Samdal led the Broncos for the second straight tournament, finishing tied for eighth with a 222 (+6) after shooting a 73 on the day.
