YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up its first tournament of the season, finishing in seventh place at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational hosted by Youngstown State University at Mill Creek Park Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Broncos combined to shoot a 313 for a 36-hole total of 626 (+50). Akron won the tournament with a 590 (+14).
WMU had two individuals finish in the top 15. Junior Alissa Fish ended up the top finisher tied for 13th with a 152 (+8) after shooting a final round of 74. Junior transfer Haley Barclay finished right behind her with a 153 (+9) to tie for 15th.
