AKRON, Ohio – The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up the Akron Invitational on Saturday at the Portage Country Club, finishing in in fourth place.
The Broncos combined to shoot a 311 and finish with a 36-hole total of 619 (+51). The University of Indianapolis claimed the tournament title after shooting a 598 (+30). Eastern Michigan finished in second place and Akron took third. WMU finished ahead of Toledo and Ohio.
Sophomore Alissa Fish had her best round of the season, shooting a 72 to move up 17 spots from Saturday and finish tied for 16th with a 155 (+13).
