YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Western Michigan golf team sits tied for fifth place, while senior Jasmine Chee is tied for seventh, after two rounds at the Shirley Spork Invitational at Eagle Crest Golf Club on Monday.
The host Eagles lead the tournament with a 54-hole total of 296 (+20), Purdue Fort Wayne and oakland sit tied for second totals of 601 (+25), Green Bay is in fourth at 607 (+31). The Broncos combined to shoot a 611 (+35). The Broncos, who are tied with Central Michigan, shot an opening round of 308 and shaved five strokes off in the second round to finish with a 303.
