KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan golf team heads to Naperville, Ill., and Naperville Country Club for the 2018 Mid-American Golf Championship on Friday-Sunday.
WMU will compete against its conference rivals in the 10-team field. The course runs 6,092 yards and is a par 72.
Last season the Broncos tied the program's second-best finish after tying for third place. WMU's highest-ever finish came in 2004 with a second place finish. Kent State has won the MAC Championship every single year since the tournament was first held in 1999.
"We know all our hard work and practice throughout the seasons has us prepared for this weekend," said second-year head coach Elise Swartout-Mosher.
