KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan golf team heads to the University of Akron and Portage Country Club to wrap up the regular season at the Akron Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
The 36-hole tournament will feature the host Zips, Eastern Michigan, University of Indianapolis, Ohio, Toledo, WMU and individuals from Kent State. The teams will play 18 holes on Friday and another on Saturday. The course at Portage Country Club will measure to 6,265 yards and will be a par 71. No live scoring will be available.
Western Michigan is coming off of a ninth place finish at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational that featured the second-straight top-15 performance by senior Cameryn Lucia.
