KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan golf team heads down to Birmingham, Mich., and the Birmingham Country Club to close out the fall season at the Chippewa Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
WMU joins the host Chippewas, Bradley, Chicago State, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Michigan, Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Mount St. Mary's, Niagara, Northwood, Oakland, Purdue Fort Wayne, Stonehill and Toledo in the 15-team field. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday, beginning at 10 a.m. and then wrap up the tournament with 18 more on Tuesday. The course measures out to 5,994 yards and is a par 72.
