KALAMAZOO, MI - According NCAA data, only 1.3 percent of high school soccer players will go on to play collegiately at the Division-I level, so the odds of a high school team boasting one such athlete are understandably slim.
The odds of a single team featuring two Division-I-bound athletes at a school with an enrollment of 232 students is comparable to a lightning bolt striking a winning lottery ticket.
But such is the case with the Kalamazoo Hackett boys soccer team and star seniors Brennan Creek and Max Keenan.
Creek committed to Western Michigan University in March, while Keenan pledged to the Broncos in August.
