FARGO, N.D. – Future Western Michigan hockey player Michael Joyaux is set to begin the Clark Cup Finals on Friday night as his Youngstown Phantoms take on the Fargo Force in a best of five series.
Joyaux, who will join the Broncos in the fall, has played in all seven USHL playoff games for the Phantoms and has tallied four assists, marking him the top-scoring d-man in the playoffs. During the regular season he had 23 points on one goal and 22 assists, eight of which came on the power play.
The Phantoms finished in second place in the Eastern Conference after going 33-20-5 during the regular season.
