KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men’s basketball program held its inaugural Lary Blahnik Commemorative Golf Outing last Friday, June 24 at Angels Crossing Golf Club in Vicksburg, Mich. A total of 72 golfers teed up to make this year’s event a success, while others were on hand to enjoy the day and dinner following.
“We considered the golf outing a tremendous success,” said WMU head coach Steve Hawkins. “We were so happy to team up with the Blahnik family to honor Lary’s name. He has such a big part of our Bronco past.
“For our first year to have over 70 golfers was outstanding.
