KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan hockey team picked up a 7-3 win over Colorado College at Lawson Ice Arena on Friday nigh, snapping an eight-game losing streak.
The Broncos' season-best offensive output was led primarily by its five freshmen Corey Schueneman, Jade McMullen, Griffen Molino, Oliwer Kaski, and Colt Conrad. All five registered points on the night with Kaski and Molino recording career-high three-point nights. WMU (5-10-1, 3-6-0-0 NCHC) also picked up goals from Frederik Tiffels and Michael Rebry, with Kyle Novak tallying two assists.
