Former Bronco Luke Juriga added to Eagles active roster

Western Michigan alumnus Luke Juriga was added to the Philadelphia Eagles active roster ahead of its game Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Juriga, who started all four seasons he spent at WMU (2016-19) and transitioned from guard to center for his senior year, is listed as a center by the Eagles and will be backing up three-time first team All-Pro center Jason Kelce.

Juriga earned a roster spot among a litany of injuries to Philadelphia’s offensive line including left tackle Jason Peters, who has made nine trips to the Pro Bowl in his career, suffering a foot injury coupled with an illness that kept him out of practice earlier in the week.
