KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan football team announced its 2016 schedule today. The Broncos will have six home games and six road games and have two mid-week #MACtion games, both on the road. Overall the schedule features six teams who went to a bowl last season, three of which come to Waldo Stadium.
The season begins with the first of two B1G opponents when the Broncos go to Northwestern on Sept. 3. The Broncos will play Illinois in Champaign, Ill., two weeks later on Sept. 17.
Western Michigan’s home opener is on Sept. 10 against UNC Central with the first of two nonconference home games.
